RYUTA NAKAJIMA (1971- )

Ryuta Nakajima, Master of Fine Art, University of California, San Diego, is a contemporary artist, independent curator, and product designer, who has lived in the Far East, Middle East, Europe, and the U.S. His paintings and drawings have been exhibited nationally and internationally. Currently an Associate professor of art at the University of Minnesota Duluth, Nakajima is also a Master of Japanese Esoteric Buddhism. In the recent years, his work has focused on the behavioral ecology of cephalopods particularly in the area of cuttlefish camouflage and body pattern.
